Concentrate Influence on one useful next reward. Every current Zone pays at 20, 50, 100 Influence. Contacts currently add 7, 9, 12 Influence across the three Networking states.
Check expiring work before spending
Cycles are a unit of time across STAR WARS Zero Company's campaign. Each cycle begins after returning to the Den after completing a Mission. Protect a compulsory Critical Mission and any expiring Hero or Operation goal before pushing a permanent Zone track.
Choose the current Influence state
Select the state shown by the live track and current stockpile. Each answer gives one spend, hold, or verification action.
Does the track need one Contact, several Contacts, a regional grant, a visible activity reward, or a correction?
The selected Zone is complete
Do not spend another Contact on this Zone. Move to an incomplete track with a reward you still need.
- Premise
- This answer applies when: The selected Zone is complete.
- Do now
- Confirm all three thresholds are complete, then choose another Zone.
- Why this answer
- Each current Zone pays at 20, 50, 100 Influence and completes at 100.
- Tradeoff
- Moving the Contact gives up no reward on the completed track and concentrates progress elsewhere.
- Alternative
- Return only if the live track shows an unclaimed reward.
- If it fails
- A completed track receives more Influence while another useful threshold remains open.
- Recovery
- Stop spending on the completed Zone and re-open the full Zone list.
- Done when
- The next Contact is assigned only to a track with an open threshold.
- Next action
- Filter the Zone Influence records to the band or reward you need.
One Contact reaches the next reward
Spend one Contact when that exact next reward solves a current need and no expiring activity takes priority.
- Premise
- This answer applies when: One Contact reaches the next reward.
- Do now
- Confirm the gap is no larger than the owned Contact value. Current Contact values are 7, 9, 12 Influence.
- Why this answer
- At 43 Influence, the gap to 50 is 7; one No Persuasion Contact supplies 7.
- Tradeoff
- The Contact becomes unavailable for another Zone threshold.
- Alternative
- Hold it when a visible Mission, Operation, or regional grant reaches the same threshold first.
- If it fails
- The Contact is spent from memory without checking the current track value and next reward.
- Recovery
- Reopen the track, verify the new value, and stop if the expected threshold did not unlock.
- Done when
- The named next reward is claimed after one Contact.
- Next action
- Open the selected Zone and verify its next reward.
No Persuasion, several Contacts reach the next threshold
Use No Persuasion at 7 Influence per Contact and spend only enough Contacts to reach the selected next threshold.
- Premise
- This answer applies when: No Persuasion, several Contacts reach the next threshold.
- Do now
- Subtract current Influence from the next threshold, round the gap up by the owned per-Contact value, and use this state only when the result is at least two.
- Why this answer
- Send Contacts to a Zone to earn +7 Influence No Persuasion: 7 Influence per Contact.
- Tradeoff
- Closing one large gap can consume Contacts that could reach a smaller reward in another Zone.
- Alternative
- Use the one-Contact state when the computed count is one, or hold when the selected reward does not solve the current need.
- If it fails
- The count uses a Networking level that is not already owned.
- Recovery
- Recalculate with 7 Influence per Contact and stop after the threshold is reached.
- Done when
- The selected reward is claimed with no Contact spent beyond the computed gap.
- Next action
- Check the exact Contact value and selected Zone threshold.

A visible Mission or Operation reaches it
Use the activity reward before spending a Contact when the live amount reaches the same useful threshold in time.
- Premise
- This answer applies when: A visible Mission or Operation reaches it.
- Do now
- Check its timer, legal squad or assignment, and visible Influence or Contact result.
- Why this answer
- A reward relationship identifies a possible source. Use the quantity shown on the current activity before treating it as enough.
- Tradeoff
- Completing the activity can spend a Cycle, Intel, or a risky assignment before the reward arrives.
- Alternative
- Spend the Contact instead when the activity expires, cannot be completed safely, or does not close the gap.
- If it fails
- A reward category is mistaken for a guaranteed quantity or Zone.
- Recovery
- Read the live reward, then recalculate the remaining gap after the activity resolves.
- Done when
- The activity result reaches the threshold and the Zone reward is claimed.
- Next action
- Check the exact Mission or Operation relationship.
No current source reaches the next reward
Hold the Contact and do not spread Influence without a useful threshold plan.
- Premise
- This answer applies when: No current source reaches the next reward.
- Do now
- Keep playing the highest-priority Mission or Operation until one source or stockpile can close the gap.
- Why this answer
- Zone rewards unlock at their listed thresholds, not from partial progress alone.
- Tradeoff
- Holding delays track progress but preserves the Contact for a decisive threshold later.
- Alternative
- Spend when one Contact, the stockpile, a regional grant, or a visible activity reaches a useful next reward.
- If it fails
- Influence is scattered across several Zones while none reaches the reward the campaign needs.
- Recovery
- Choose one next reward and direct future sources to that Zone until its threshold is reachable.
- Done when
- One selected track has a reachable threshold and a reason to claim it.
- Next action
- Browse the twelve current Zone tracks before choosing.
The live value differs from the plan
Stop spending. Re-read the starting Influence, owned Networking upgrades, selected Zone, and claimed threshold.
- Premise
- This answer applies when: The live value differs from the plan.
- Do now
- Record the value before and after the last source, then use the current Contact value to recalculate.
- Why this answer
- The current Contact sequence is 7, 9, 12 Influence. Regional grants add 5 to each Zone in their named band.
- Tradeoff
- Pausing delays the next reward but prevents another resource from compounding the mismatch.
- Alternative
- Resume only when the observed addition and selected source agree.
- If it fails
- Another Contact or upgrade is spent before identifying which starting value, source, or Zone was wrong.
- Recovery
- Use the live track as the new starting state and recompute only the remaining gap.
- Done when
- The current Zone value, source amount, next threshold, and claimed reward all agree.
- Next action
- Open the exact Zone record and verify its thresholds.
Read the twelve Zone tracks
Choose the reward, not the Zone name. A reward at 20 can solve the current problem before a final reward at 100.
| Zone | Band | 20 Influence | 50 Influence | 100 Influence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | +25 Intel Cap | Intel Gathering | Prototype Imploder | |
| Core | +2 Focus Points | Weightless Stabilizer | ||
| Core | Crew Quarters | Extra Padding | ||
| Mid | +1 Focus Point | Rumor Spreading | Custom | |
| Mid | Advanced Range Scope | Assassin's Scope | +1 Weapon Mod Slot | |

| Outer | Advanced | +175 Den XP | ||
| Outer | 1 Capacitor | Jogan Fruit Pie | Lightning Modulator |
The Zone Influence query also shows the current Mission relationships for each Zone. A relationship tells you which records resolve there. It does not invent an Influence quantity that the live Mission does not show.
Calculate the Contact gap
The Contact calculation subtracts current Influence from the next threshold, keeps the track within its current range, and rounds the required Contact count up.
At 43 Influence, the next threshold is 50. The current gap is 7, and one base Contact supplies 7, so the rule returns 1 Contact.
| Networking state | Influence per Contact | Contacts for a 20-point gap | Contacts for a 50-point gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| No Persuasion | 7 | 3 | 8 |
| Persuasion I | 9 | 3 | 6 |
| Persuasion II | 12 | 2 | 5 |
Facilities · NetworkingPersuasion IPlacing a Contact provides +2 InfluenceResearch areaNetworking says: Placing a Contact provides +2 Influence
Facilities · NetworkingPersuasion IIPlacing a Contact provides an additional +3 InfluenceResearch areaNetworking says: Placing a Contact provides an additional +3 Influence
The completed sequence reaches 12 per Contact. Use the value already owned, not the upgrade you hope to buy later.
The current Zone tracks contain 0 fixed Contact rewards. Operation records can also list Contacts as a reward family, but the category alone does not guarantee one for every option.
Use regional Influence correctly
Core, Mid, and Outer regional upgrades each add 5 Influence to every Zone in the named band. Their exact reach is:
| Upgrade | Band | Per Zone | Zones affected |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | +5 Influence | 3 | |
| Core | +5 Influence | 3 | |
| Mid | +5 Influence | 4 | |
| Mid | +5 Influence | 4 | |
| Outer | +5 Influence | 5 | |
| Outer | +5 Influence | 5 |
Use the regional grant when its 5 points cross a useful threshold or several open gaps in that band matter. Use Contacts for concentrated progress in one selected Zone. Hold both when neither source reaches a useful next reward.
Verify the result
- Record the selected Zone, current Influence, next threshold, and named reward.
- Confirm the owned Contact value or exact regional grant.
- Spend one source.
- Reopen the track and check the new value.
- Confirm the reward is claimed when the threshold is reached.
- If the value differs, stop and use the observed value as the new starting state.
Do not spend a second source to cover an unexplained mismatch. Recheck the Zone, starting value, Networking state, and claimed threshold first.
